Happy Birthday to Me!

As I celebrate my birthday, I can’t help but think back on what has happened in the course of one year. A year ago today , I was about three months into living on my own after officially moving out of my parent’s home and  was preparing to take the GRE in order to apply for grad school. I remember having doubts and even felt discouraged at times about applying and the whole process of getting into graduate school. If only I could go back in time and tell myself that the stress I was feeling then was nothing compared to what I am currently going through. There are so many things I have to get done within the upcoming week, and I have just learned that it does not stop until I graduate. While I do feel intimidated by the fact that I will get busier in the next year and a half that I have left, I am thrilled for what is to come. I will start my practicum next semester and start my internship during the summer. I am excited to put into action all that I have learned with the community. I just hope I don’t mess it up.  So cheers for what I have learned and what is to come!
